What is the artificial intelligence (AI) for?

AI is your intelligent assistant. You can talk to it to create rooms, add elements or estimate damages. Even better: take a photo of a room, and let AI analyze the image to suggest items to check, pre-fill their condition and add relevant remarks. All you have to do is validate.

Is a subscription required?

No, absolutely not. Check-immo works on a pay-per-use model with credits. Subscriptions are completely optional and are aimed at professionals who want to unlock advanced features like Cloud backup or unlimited AI use.

What is Cloud backup for?

Cloud backup (available via subscription) is your peace of mind insurance. It allows you to store all your property inspections and photos on our secure servers. In case of theft, loss or device change, you can restore all your data with one click on your new device.

What is Web access (Pro Subscription)?

It's your personal web portal. Accessible from any computer (PC/Mac), it allows you to view, download and manage all your property inspections saved in the Cloud. It's the ideal tool for archiving your reports or easily downloading all HD photos from a folder.

Can multiple people use the app on the same device?

Yes. Each expert can have their own account on the same device. Additionally, each account can manage multiple agent profiles (agencies, clients...) with distinct logos and information, ensuring always personalized reports.

What are templates for?

Templates save you valuable time. Instead of starting from scratch, you can pre-configure property inspection structures (rooms, elements to check...) for your most common property types. Use our ready-to-use templates or create your own endlessly.

Why no longer use Dropbox for backup?

To ensure a simpler, faster and 100% secure experience, we replaced the old Dropbox integration with our own Cloud backup system. This allows us to offer one-click restoration and better data protection.

Is Check-immo available on iOS and Android?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Check-immo is available on iPad, iPhone (iOS) as well as Android tablets and smartphones. Versions are compatible with each other, so you can easily collaborate and share folders with colleagues, even if they don't use the same device type.

How to manage folders and property inspections?

Management is very intuitive. To create a folder, use the "+" button. To rename or delete it, swipe on its name. You can also move a property inspection to another folder at any time via its options.

How to create a new property inspection?

Once in your chosen folder, press the "+" button. The app will then offer you to start a blank inspection or use one of your templates to save time.

How to export and send the PDF report?

Once your inspection is signed and finalized, the app will offer to export it. It will prepare a pre-formatted email via your device's Mail app. You can then modify the message, choose recipients (all parties or just one) and send the PDF report directly from your own email address.

How to delete a property inspection?

In your chosen folder, press the "Options" button next to the inspection. A menu will appear with several actions, including "Delete". Be careful, this action is irreversible if you don't have Cloud backup.

How to duplicate or create an exit comparison?

Only a finalized move-in inspection can serve as a base. Press the "Options" button next to it, choose "Duplicate". The app will then ask if you want to make an identical copy (for a similar property) or a comparative move-out inspection (pre-filled with move-in data).

How to activate the AI assistant?

An "AI Off" / "AI On" button is present at the top of the screen. Once AI is activated, two types of microphones appear: a red mic at top to manage structure (create, modify room) and blue mics in sections to interact with elements (add, comment, etc.).

How to add a photo to an element?

For each element you inspect (a wall, a door, etc.), you'll find a camera icon. Press it to take as many photos as needed. They will be automatically linked to that specific element in the report.

How to add or remove a room?

Manually, you can add a room via the main "+" button, and delete it via its "Options" menu. Note that our AI assistant can also manage these actions automatically on simple voice command.

How to add a general comment?

You can add general remarks that will appear in the final report. Dedicated fields are available at the bottom of the "Property" and "Readings" tabs to record any important information not related to a specific element.

Who can sign the property inspection?

All parties you identify in the "Property" tab (tenants, owners...) can sign. During finalization, the app asks each present person to sign on the screen. If someone is absent, you can check the "Will sign later" option to allow document closure.

How to save a property inspection to Cloud?

If you have a subscription, press the "Options" button next to an inspection, then select "Save" (cloud icon). This will send a secure copy of your report and all its data to your personal online space.

How to restore a Cloud backup?

Go to the "Backups" section in the main menu to see your backup list. Press the inspection you want to recover. The app will download it to your device. If it already exists, it will offer to replace it with the backed-up version.
